FIRST DISTINCTION

A planet is a function, not a personality type.

Everyone has every planet in the chart. Saying “I am not very Venus” skips the useful question: which sign, house, and aspects shape the way value and relationship work in this particular chart?

Luminaries

The two visible lights. The Sun describes conscious authorship and vitality; the Moon describes instinctive regulation and memory. They are not planets astronomically, but astrology groups them with the chart’s planetary bodies.
